September Storm to Tullyraine

Ballyash resident stallion September Storm will stand at Tullyraine House Stud for the 2011 season whilst Ballyash owner John Kidd recuperates from hip surgery. The two studs are only a few miles apart so mare owners won’t be inconvenienced.

September Storm’s first crop are two year olds and his foals have proved popular with National Hunt buyers, making up to €12,000. His sire Monsun is best known as a producer of multiple Group One winners on the flat with horses like Manduro, Stacelita, Getaway etc., but his progeny are starting to make their mark on the National Hunt scene. From only very small numbers of runners he is achieving a consistent strike rate and has produced promising jumpers such as recent Gr.1 placed hurdler Shot From The Hip (see table below) all of which looks very promising for September Storm.

Breeders interested in using September Storm can contact Ballyash, click here for full details, or Hugh Suffern at Tullyraine on (028) 40 624566
